DAIHATSU CUORE HATCHBACK
One of the cheapest cars to buy that is reliable, practical, cheap to run and fun to drive. Very nippy and fun to drive, not as refined on motorway as it's small and light.
The narrow width and length of the car means you can easily drive through built up narrow street and can park in tiny spaces.
The fuel tank filled up the gauge showing empty is around 31 litres although the actual tank should be 40 litres so there must be about 9 litres in reserve. This can last around 300 miles in the city, which I think is very good.
Cons is that you cannot adjust the steering wheel but I'm 5'11" tall and it's fine and there's still leg room behind me. The build quality is relatively cheap but I doesn't bother me, in fact nothing broke and everything like the electric windows, mirrors and air con works.
Car is 13 years old and I done o2 sensor and exhaust beside the usual service, 155/65/13 tyres very cheap. Still on original brake discs at 48000 miles and changed front pads once.
Overall great car if you want something to get you around that is cheap to buy and doesn't go wrong.
