As you would expect for a BMW, praise on most models is high. However there are two common issues; run flat tyres and the driving in the snow. One BMW 5 series owner submitted the following comment on the WeLoveAnyCar.com car review site; “The run flat tyres let it down badly. On some road surfaces the noise is unbearable.” With regard to performance in the snow, another review submitted for the BMW 1 series summed it up; “Not at all good in the snow. I had to have 4 concrete blocks in the boot !! The run flat tyres also eat tyres - very expensive!!”
